Located in the southwest of France since 1270, the Frapin family is a family of cognac producers for over 20 generations. The Frapin family always used it as their permanent home the famous castle of Fontpinot in Segonzac, who gave name to its famous XO cognacs Fontpinot. Among their ancestors, is a famous writer of the sixteenth century, François Rabelais. The Frapin has more than 300 hectares of controlled vineyards. Located in the Grand Champagne region, their fields are an example of ecological culture, where the land is cultivated according to traditional methods. The final product is the true cognac, which emphasises it’s inherent high quality, strong aromas and a unique presentation.
